All Mobas were packed good and made it home alive, even when the fishes missed their first cargo flight at Atlanta (Delta Cargo). ( Only about an hour delay). The Mobas are in Great health and started eating 2 days later as it was the first time i tried to feed them and they tore up the NSL Thera +A. I would buy from this dealer again if i ever need to. Message: I dropped by Butch's place and purchased a very nice trio of wc Lethrinops marginatus red fin and within 30mins of introduction they feed. Butch is a great guy to work with because he has experience and is very knowledgeable. But one thing I would like to point out is that he does a great job at packing because I ran into car trouble and a friend and I were stuck on the side of the road for 3 hours and even after all that the fish survived and showed almost no stress. He has a great selection, the prices that he sells them for is amazing and he has fish that you won’t see anywhere else. Thanks Butch and I will be a returning customer.

The fish arrived at Detroit Metro Airport on time. All fish were packed properly, and all were in excellent shape. I was not disappointed in any way. My fish were packed separetly, so there was no confusion when the unpacking started. My only criticism is this: It would have been helpful if each bag had been labelled since colour had been lost and identification of the species was a little difficult. Other than that, it was great dealing with this man.

Message: I was on the internet looking for a few species of fish, and it seemed that no other stores online had what I was looking for. I was just lucky and one day came across aquarium specialist. They had almost everything that I wanted to get. And the ones that they currently didn't have said that they would be getting them at some point. The prices were absolutely great for the quality of the fish. The fish arrived in 72 degree water, which is very warm for being delivered. Packaging was very professional, and everything was double bagged. Fish all arrived healthy, I got them each situated in their own tanks for the next 3 weeks. By the time I got the third fish in the one tank I went back and the fish was showing signs of wanting to eat. I kind of got a laugh out of that one! Anyway, I highly recommend Aquarium Specialist for any of your African Cichlid needs. The fish that I received are top notch. I was especially pleased with the Placidochromis sp.
